7 Who said to God: Depart from us: and looked upon the Almighty as if he could do nothing:


0 All the sinners of my people shall fall by the sword: who say: The evils shall not approach, and shall not come upon us.


For thus saith the Lord to the eunuchs, They that shall keep my sabbaths, and shall choose the things that please me, and shall hold fast my covenant:


The high praise of God shall be in their mouth: and two-edged swords in their hands:


1 Who teacheth us more than the beasts of the earth, and instructeth us more than the fowls of the air.


1 The pillars of heaven tremble, and dread at his beck.


8 to such as keep his covenant, And are mindful of his commandments to do them.


3 Then hear thou from heaven, and do justice to thy servants, so as to requite the wicked by making his wickedness fall upon his own head, and to revenge the just, rewarding him according to his justice.


4 Thou wilt frighten me with dreams and terrify me with visions.


4 If thou wilt put away from thee the iniquity that is in thy hand, and lot not injustice remain in thy tabernacle:


Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?


3 Which I have prepared for the time of the enemy, against the day of battle and war?


A psalm for David himself. Be not emulous of evildoers; nor envy them that work iniquity.


1 There is a generation that curseth their father, and doth not bless their mother.
