And the Lord God formed man of the slime of the earth: and breathed into his face the breath of life, and man became a living soul.


That dwell in sepulchres, and sleep in the temple of idols: that eat swine's flesh, and profane broth is in their vessels.


9 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread till thou return to the earth, out of which thou wast taken: for dust thou art, and into dust thou shalt return.


4 And all things that are done, God will bring into judgment for every error, whether it be good or evil.


4 Shall now the snow of Libanus fail from the rock of the field? or can the cold waters that gush out and run down, be taken away?


9 And as Isaias foretold: Unless the Lord of Sabaoth had left us a seed, we had been made as Sodom, and we had been like unto Gomorrha.


7 Israel is saved in the Lord with as eternal salvation: you shall not be con- founded, and you shall not be ashamed for ever and ever.


1 And the water covered them that afflicted them: there was not one of them left.


0 the days of our years in them are threescore and ten years. But if in the strong they be fourscore years: and what is more of them is labour and sorrow. For mildness is come upon us: and we shall be corrected.


Before the mountains were made, or the earth and the world was formed; from eternity and to eternity thou art God.


For thy mercy is before my eyes; and I am well pleased with thy truth.


2 I will declare thy name to my brethren: in the midst of the church will I praise thee.


Why are we reputed as beasts, and counted vile before you?


2 Am I a sea, or a whale, that thou hast enclosed me in a prison?


6 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man is corrupted, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.


I have seen a fool with a strong root, and I cursed his beauty immediately.


Yet if thou wilt arise early to God, and wilt beseech the Almighty:


5 And if I be wicked, woe unto me: and if just, I shall not lift up my head, being filled with affliction and misery.


2 Now this is the thing in which thou art not justified : I will answer thee, that God is greater than man.


1 For his eyes are upon the ways of men, and he considereth all their steps.


6 And he gave up their fruits to the blast, and their labours to the locust.


Alleluia. Give glory to the Lord, and call upon his name: declare his deeds among the Gentiles.


1 Bless the Lord, all ye his hosts: you ministers of his that do his will.


A people that continually provoke me to anger before my face: that immolate in gardens, and sacrifice upon bricks.
