1 How long shall I see men fleeing away, how long shall I hear the sound of the trumpet?


4 And be astonished at the terror of those things which thy eyes shall see:


Thus saith the Lord concerning the prophets that make my people err: that bite with their teeth, and preach peace: and if a man give not something into their mouth, they prepare war against him.


2 I will assemble and gather together all of thee, O Jacob: I will bring together the remnant of Israel, I will put them together as a flock in the fold, as the sheep in the midst of the sheepcotes, they shall make a tumult by reason of the multitude of men.


0 Our skin was burnt as an oven, by reason of the violence of the famine.


Remember, O Lord, what is come upon us: consider and behold our reproach.


8 The earth shall mourn, and the heavens shall lament from above: because I have spoken, I have purposed, and I have not repented, neither am I turned away from it.


2 Though thou wash thyself with nitre, and multiply to thyself the herb borith, thou art stained in thy iniquity before me, saith the Lord God.


7 A man, or woman, in whom there is a pythonical or divining spirit, dying let them die: they shall stone them: their blood be upon them.


Let every one fear his father, and his mother. Keep my sabbaths. I am the Lord your God.


0 Keep my commandments. Do not the things which they have done, that have been before you, and be not defiled therein. I am the Lord your God.


3 But this thing I commanded them, saying: Hearken to my voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be my people: and walk ye in all the way that I have commanded you, that it may be well with you.


7 And thou shalt speak to them all these words, but they will not hearken to thee: and thou shalt call them, but they will not answer thee.


And death shall be chosen rather than life by all that shall remain of this wicked kindred in all places, which are left, to which I have cast them out, saith the Lord of hosts.


She that hath borne seven is become weak, her soul hath fainted away: her sun is gone down, while it was yet day: she is confounded, and ashamed: and the residue of them I will give up to the sword in the sight of their enemies, saith the Lord.


7 And the work of justice shall be peace, and the service of justice quietness, and security for ever.


0 The Persians, and Lydians, and the Libyans were thy soldiers in thy army: they hung up the buckler and the helmet in thee for thy ornament.
