9 Furnish thyself to go into captivity, thou daughter inhabitant of Egypt: for Memphis shall be made desolate, and shall be forsaken and uninhabited.


6 And Juda said to his brethren: What will it profit us to kill our brother, and conceal his blood?


6 When he uttereth his voice the waters are multiplied in heaven: he lifteth up the clouds from the ends of the earth, he hath turned lightning into rain: and hath brought forth the wind out of his treasures.


1 And when he was come to the house, he suffered not any man to go in with him, but Peter and James and John, and the father and mother of the maiden.


2 And take with you double money, and carry back what you found in your sacks, lest perhaps it was done by mistake.


Shall I not visit them for these things, saith the Lord? or shall not my soul be revenged on such a nation?


For who shall have pity on thee, O Jerusalem? or who shall bemoan thee? or who shall go to pray for thy peace?


1 Sin. The child and the old man lie without on the ground: my virgins and my young men are fallen by the sword: thou hast slain them in the day of thy wrath: thou hast killed, and shewn them no pity.


And Moses answered them: What, shall your brethren go to fight, and will you sit here?


5 They were confounded, because they commmitted abomination: yea, rather they were not confounded with confusion, and they knew not how to blush: wherefore they shall fall among them that fall: in the time of their visitation they shall fall down, saith the Lord.


9 For a voice of wailing is heard out of Sion: How are we wasted and greatly confounded? because we have left the land, because our dwellings are cast down.


4 Who saith: I will build me a wide house and large chambers: who openeth to himself windows, and maketh roofs of cedar, and painteth them with vermilion.


5 The ships of the sea, were thy chief in thy merchandise : and thou wast replenished, and glorified exceedingly in the heart of the sea.
