6 Thy words were found, and I did eat them, and thy word was to me a joy and gladness of my heart: for thy name is called upon me, O Lord God of hosts.


2 You Ethiopians, also shall be slain with my sword.


7 And you shall know that I am the Lord your God, dwelling in Sion my holy mountain: and Jerusalem shall be holy and strangers shall pass through it no more.


Thy habitation is in the midst of deceit: Through deceit they have refused to know me, saith the Lord.


8 Nevertheless in those days, saith the Lord, I will not bring you to utter destruction.


All holding swords, and most expert in war : every man's sword upon his thigh, because of fears in the night.


The word that came to Jeremias from the Lord, saying:


7 I sat not in the assembly of jesters, nor did I make a boast of the presence of thy hand: I sat alone, because thou hast filled me with threats.


And thy valiant men of the south shall be afraid, that man may be cut off from the mount of Esau.


Remember that my life is but wind, and my eyes shall not return to see good things.


And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be prepared in the top of mountains, and high above the hills: and people shall flow to it.
