8 My sorrow is above sorrow, my heart mourneth within me.


And they cried one to another, and said: Holy, holy, holy, the Lord God of hosts, all the earth is full of his glory.


Seek the Lord, all ye meek of the earth, you that have wrought his judgment: seek the just, seek the meek: if by any means you may be hid in the day of the Lord's indignation.


9 But thou, O Lord, shalt remain for ever, thy throne from generation to generation.


1 They oppressed the women in Sion, and the virgins in the cities of Juda.


1 Daleth. He hath turned aside my paths, and hath broken me in pieces, he hath made me desolate.

2 I will assemble and gather together all of thee, O Jacob: I will bring together the remnant of Israel, I will put them together as a flock in the fold, as the sheep in the midst of the sheepcotes, they shall make a tumult by reason of the multitude of men.


2 And it shall come to pass at that time, that I will search Jerusalem with lamps, and will visit upon the men that are settled on their lees: that say in their hearts: The Lord will not do good, nor will he do evil.


0 Our skin was burnt as an oven, by reason of the violence of the famine.


And he said to me: Son of man, lift up thy eyes towards the way of the north. And I lifted up my eyes towards the way of the north: and behold on the north side of the gate of the altar the idol of jealousy in the very entry.
