8 And they came into Jerusalem with psalteries, and harps, and trumpets into the house of the Lord.


And he answered them: What could I have done like to that which you have done? Is not one bunch of grapes of Ephraim better than the vintages of Abiezer?


How shall it be quiet, when the Lord hath given it a charge against Ascalon, and against the countries thereof by the sea side, and there hath made an appointment for it?


They have overturned the way of the poor, and have oppressed together the meek of the earth.


7 When thy enemy shall fall, be not glad, and in his ruin let not thy heart rejoice:


3 And from the beginning I am the same, and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall turn it away?


Against Moab thus saith the Lord of hosts the God of Israel: Woe to Nabo, for it is laid waste, and confounded: Cariathaim is taken: the strong city is confounded and hath trembled.
