4 For the Lord will judge his people, and will be entreated in favour of his servants.


2 And he said to them: Take me up, and cast me into the sea, and the sea shall be calm to you: for I know that for my sake this great tempest is upon you.


0 And the Lord will reward me according to my justice; and will repay me according to the cleanness of my hands:


For the wickedness of Jacob is all this, and for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the wickedness of Jacob? is it not Samaria? and what are the high places of Juda? are they not Jerusalem ?


5 And I will plant them upon their own land: and I will no more pluck them out of their land which I have given them, saith the Lord thy God.


3 And these wheels he called voluble, in my hearing.


praise the name of the Lord. For he spoke, and they were made: he commanded, and they were created.


4 Bringing forth grass for cattle, and herb for the service of men. That thou mayst bring bread out of the earth:

O God, thou knowest my foolishness; and my offences are not hidden from thee:


For the Lord is high, terrible: a great king over all the earth.


6 His strength is in his loins, and his force in the navel of his belly.


8 Who is the father of rain ? or who begot the drops of dew?


9 Shew us what we may say to him : for we are wrapped up in darkness.


4 And now the morning watch was come, and behold the Lord looking upon the Egyptian army through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, slew their host.


2 And Moses stretch forth his hand towards heaven: and there came horrible darkness in all the land of Egypt for three days.


6 Wherefore Pharao in haste called Moses and Aaron, and said to them: I have sinned against the Lord your God, and against you.


And God remembered Noe, and all the living creatures, and all the cattle which were with him in the ark, and brought a wind upon the earth, and the waters were abated.
