Enlarge the place of thy tent, and stretch out the skins of thy tabernacles, spare not: lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes.


But go ye rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.


4 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words: going forth out of that house or city shake off the dust from your feet.


2 I will save my dock, and it shall be no more a spoil, and I will judge between cattle and cattle.


5 The Lord hath opened his armoury, and hath brought forth the weapons of his wrath : for the Lord the God of hosts hath a work to be done in the land of the Chaldeans.


With them that hate peace I was peaceable: when I spoke to them they fought against me without cause.


7 Destroy all her valiant men, let them go down to the slaughter: woe to them, for their day is come, the time of their visitation.


4 Return, O ye revolting children, saith the Lord: for I am your husband: and I will take you, one of a city, and two of a kindred, and will bring you into Sion.


4 I will pay my vows to the Lord before all his people:


But thou shalt consider with thy eyes: and shalt see the reward of the wicked.


Not rendering evil for evil, nor railing for railing, but contrariwise, blessing: for unto this are you called, that you may inherit a blessing.


2 And Jesus called together his disciples, and said: I have compassion on the multitudes, because they continue with me now three days, and have not what to eat, and I will not send them away fasting, lest they faint in the way.


Which I commanded your fathers in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, from the iron furnace, saying: Hear ye my voice, and do all things that I command you: and you shall be my people, and I will be your God:


Set up the standard in Sion. Strengthen yourselves, stay not: for I bring evil from the north, and great destruction.


Therefore the showers were withholden, and there was no lateward rain: thou hadst a harlot's forehead, thou wouldst not blush.


8 Where are the gods, whom thou hast made thee? let them arise and deliver thee in the time of thy affliction: for according to the number of thy cities were thy gods, O Juda.


0 For after days and a year, you that are confident shall be troubled: for the vintage is at an end, the gathering shall come no more.


3 And rain shall be given to thy seed, wheresoever thou shalt sow in the land: and the bread of the corn of the land shall be most plentiful, and fat. The lamb in that day shall feed at large in thy possession:


Thou hast set our iniquities before thy eyes: our life in the light of thy countenance.


Sing to him a new canticle, sing well unto him with a loud noise.


Who shall ascend into the mountain of the Lord: or who shall stand in his holy place?


4 And I will scatter them as stubble, which is carried away by the wind in the desert.


To the prophets: My heart is broken within me, all my bones tremble: I am become as a drunken man, and as a man full of wine, at the presence of the Lord, and at the presence of his holy words.


0 Thus saith the Lord: If my covenant with the day can be made void, and my covenant with the night, that there should not be day and night in their season:


8 And say: Thus saith the Lord God: Woe to them that sew cushions under every elbow: and make pillows for the heads of persons of every age to catch souls: and when they caught the souls of my people, they gave life to their souls.


3 AND I WILL SET UP ONE SHEPHERD OVER THEM, and he shall feed them, even my servant David: he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd.


4 And I the Lord will be their God: and my servant David the prince in the midst of them: I the Lord have spoken it.


1 To what purpose do you offer me the multitude of your victims, saith the Lord? I am full, I desire not holocausts of rams, and fat of fatlings, and blood of calves, and lambs, and buck goats.
