36 4 Behold he shall come up like a lion from the swelling of the Jordan to the strong and beautiful: for I will make him run suddenly upon her: and who shall be the chosen one whom I may appoint over her? for who is like to me? and who shall bear up against me? and who is that shepherd that can withstand my countenance?

0 Flee ye, get away speedily, sit in deep holes, you that inhabit Asur, saith the Lord: for Nabuchodonosor king of Babylon hath taken counsel against you, and hath conceived designs against you.


How long, O Lord, shall I cry, and thou wilt not hear? shall I cry out to thee suffering violence, and thou wilt not save?


I am the Lord, and there is none else: there is no God, besides me: I girded thee, and thou hast not known me:


7 And he measured the wall thereof an hundred and forty-four cubits, the measure of a man, which is of an angel.


And they came upon the breadth of the earth, and encompassed the camp of the saints, and the beloved city.


3 I charge thee before God, who quickeneth all things, and before Christ Jesus, who gave testimony under Pontius Pilate, a good confession,


1 These things command and teach.


5 There shall the fire devour thee: thou shalt perish by the sword, it shall devour thee like the bruchus: assemble together like the bruchus, make thyself many like the locust.


And of the shining sword, and of the glittering spear, and of a multitude slain, and of a grievous destruction: and there is no end of carcasses, and they shall fall down on their dead bodies.


0 I will bring them down like lambs to the slaughter, and like rams with kids.


8 They shall roar together like lions, they shall shake their manes like young lions.


1 One running post shall meet another, and messenger shall meet messenger: to tell the king of Babylon that his city is taken from one end to the other:


8 A drought upon her waters, and they shall be dried up: because it is a land of idols, and they glory in monstrous things.


8 Upon all the housetops of Moab, and in the streets thereof general mourning: because I have broken Moab as an useless vessel, saith the Lord.
