5 Not one of the men of this wicked generation shall see the good land, which I promised with an oath to your fathers:


5 For the Amalecite and the Chanaanite dwell in the valleys. To morrow remove the camp, and return into the wilderness by the way of the Red Sea.


7 And the Lord said to Moses: This word also, which thou hast spoken, will I do: for thou hast found grace before me, and thee I have known by name.


And she conceived, and bore a son; and seeing him a goodly child hid him three months.


8 And the king called for them and said: What is that you meant to do, that you would save the men children ?

3 For since the time that I went in to Pharao to speak in thy name, he hath afflicted thy people: and thou hast not delivered them.


5 And the Lord looked upon the children of Israel, and he knew them.


8 He that shall gainsay thy mouth, and not obey all thy words, that thou shalt command him, let him die: only take thou courage, and do manfully.


2 Ephraim hath compassed me about with denials, and the house of Israel with deceit: but Juda went down as a witness with God, and is faithful with the saints.


3 And there you shall remember your ways, and all your wicked doings with which you have been defiled; and you shall be displeased with yourselves in your own sight, for all your wicked deeds which you committed.
