4 As children of obedience, not fashioned according to the former desires of your ignorance:


7 The maid therefore that was portress, saith to Peter: Art not thou also one of this man's disciples? He saith: I am not.


0 And not for them only do I pray, but for them also who through their word shall believe in me;

The word that came to Jeremias from the Lord, after that king Sedecias had made a covenant with all the people in Jerusalem making a proclamation:


8 Hearing I heard Ephraim when he went into captivity: thou hast chastised me, and I was instructed, as a young bullock unaccustomed to the yoke. Convert me, and I shall be converted, for thou art the Lord my God.


8 Thus saith the Lord: Behold I bring back the captivity of the pavilions of Jacob, and will have pity on his houses, and the city shall be built in her place, and the temple shall be found according to the order thereof.


You shall draw waters with joy out of the saviour's fountains:


4 And that which was received they brought into the tabernacle of the testimony, for a memorial of the children of Israel before the Lord.


The Lord is a jealous God, and a revenger: the Lord is a revenger, and hath wrath: the Lord taketh vengeance on his adversaries, and he is angry with his enemies.


4 But if you will not hear me, nor do all my commandments,


9 And I scattered them among the nations, and they are dispersed through the countries: I have judged them according to their ways, and their devices.


2 But they have not known the thoughts of the Lord, and have not understood his counsel: because he hath gathered them together as the hay of the floor.


In the second year of Darius the king, in the sixth month, in the first day of the month, the word of the Lord came by the hand of Aggeus the prophet, to Zorobabel the son of Salathiel, governor of Juda, and to Jesus the son of Josedec the high priest, saying:
