1 And when a convenient day was come, Herod made a supper for his birthday, for the princes, and tribunes, and chief men of Galilee.


6 And when we were come to Rome, Paul was suffered to dwell by himself, with a soldier that kept him.


And they were both just before God, walking in all the commandments and justifications of the Lord without blame.


6 But he answered: As the Lord liveth, before whom I stand, I will receive none. And when he pressed him, he still refused.


4 Not giving heed to Jewish fables and commandments of men, who turn themselves away from the truth.


2 And all the multitude held their peace; and they heard Barnabas and Paul telling what great signs and wonders God had wrought among the Gentiles by them.


They therefore being brought on their way by the church, passed through Phenice, and Samaria, relating the conversion of the Gentiles; and they caused great joy to all the brethren.


And now send men to Joppe, and call hither one Simon, who is surnamed Peter:


8 And Eliseus returned to Galgal, and there was a famine in the land, and the sons of the prophets dwelt before him. And he said to one of his servants: Set on the great pot, and boil pottage for the sons of the prophets.


And Elias went to shew himself to Achab, and there was a grievous famine in Samaria.


And the angel said to him: Gird thyself, and put on thy sandals. And he did so. And he said to him: Cast thy garment about thee, and follow me.
