1 The sun and the moon stood still in their habitation, in the light of thy arrows, they shall go in the brightness of thy glittering spear.


9 And they provoked him with their inventions: and destruction was multiplied among them.


2 thou hast set men over our heads. We have passed through tire and water, and thou hast brought us out into a refreshment.


0 For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us by fire, as silver is tried.


And to all the host of the Egyptians, and to their horses and chariots: how the waters of the Red Sea covered them, when they pursued you, and how the Lord destroyed them until this present day:


4 Thou hast cursed his sceptres, the head of his warriors, them that came out as a whirlwind to scatter me. Their joy was like that of him that devoureth the poor man in secret.


Be not very angry, O Lord, and remember no longer our iniquity: behold, see we are all thy people.


Will God then cast off for ever? or will he never be more favourable again?


5 The mountain of God is a fat mountain. A curdled mountain, a fat mountain.


8 And now, O Lord God, thou art God, and thy words shall be true: for thou hast spoken to thy servant these good things.


9 Know therefore this day, and think in thy heart that the Lord he is God in heaven above, and in the earth beneath, and there is no other.


3 But destroy their altars, break their statues, and cut down their groves:


And they cried one to another, and said: Holy, holy, holy, the Lord God of hosts, all the earth is full of his glory.
