8 And as I have watched over them, to pluck up, and to throw down, and to scatter, and destroy, and afflict: so will I watch over them, to build up, and to plant them, saith the Lord.


And Moses with the ancients of Israel commanded the people, saying: Keep every commandment that I command you this day.


And he prevailed over the angel, and was strengthened: he wept, and made supplication to him: he found him in Bethel, and there he spoke with us.

Take a psalm, and bring hither the timbrel: the pleasant psaltery with the harp.


1 For in him our heart shall rejoice: and in his holy name we have trusted.


By this is the spirit of God known. Every spirit which confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh, is of God:


0 That in the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those that are in heaven, on earth, and under the earth:


And it came to pass, that when they were there, her days were accomplished, that she should be delivered.


8 Res. Thou hast judged, O Lord, the cause of my soul, thou the Redeemer of my life.


Shall not I that make others to bring forth children, myself bring forth, saith the Lord? shall I, that give generation to others, be barren, saith the Lord thy God?


7 Why hast thou made us to err, O Lord, from thy ways: why hast thou hardened our heart, that we should not fear thee? return for the sake of thy servants, the tribes of thy inheritance.


Lift up thy eyes round about, and see: all these are gathered together, they are come to thee: thy sons shah come from afar, and thy daughters shall rise up at thy side.


For they seek me from day to day, sad desire to know my ways, as a nation that hath done justice, and hath not forsaken the judgment of their God: they ask of me the judgments of justice: they are willing to approach to God.


3 And kings shall be thy nursing fathers, and queens thy nurses: they shall worship thee with their face toward the earth, and they shall lick up the dust of thy feet. And thou shalt know that I am the Lord, for they shall not be confounded that wait for him.


9 Thy dead men shall live, my slain shall rise again: awake, and give praise, ye that dwell in the dust: for thy dew is the dew of the light: and the land of the giants thou shalt pull down into ruin.


5 The aged and honourable, he is the head: and the prophet that teacheth lies, he is the tail.


For a thousand years in thy sight are as yesterday, which is past. And as a watch in the night,


3 His soul shall dwell in good things: and his seed shall inherit the land.


Which when it was noised abroad in the ears of the people, the children of Israel offered in abundance the firstfruits of corn, wine, and oil, and honey: and brought the tithe of all things which the ground bringeth forth.


2 Then hear thou in heaven: and do, and judge thy servants, condemning the wicked, and bringing his way upon his own head, and justifying the just, and rewarding him according to his justice.


2 The king of powers is of the beloved, of the beloved; and the beauty of the house shall divide spoils.


And it shall be as when one gathereth in the harvest that which remaineth, and his arm shall gather the ears of corn: and it shall be as he that seeketh ears in the vale of Raphaim.


And Ezechias turned his face toward the wall, and prayed to the Lord,


1 And the Lord was willing to sanctify him, and to magnify the law, and exalt it.


Thus saith the Lord: As if a grain be found in a cluster, and it be said: Destroy it not, because it is a blessing: so will I do for the sake of my servants, that I may not destroy the whole.


6 And you shall eat in plenty, and shall be filled: and you shall praise the name of the Lord your God, who hath done wonders with you, and my people shall not be confounded for ever.


7 Great was the noise of the waters: the clouds sent out a sound. For thy arrows pass:


Blow up the trumpet on the new moon, on the noted day of your solemnity.
