2 Yet now he hath reconciled in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unspotted, and blameless before him:


8 Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward.


6 For the king knoweth of these things, to whom also I speak with confidence. For I am persuaded that none of these things are hidden from him. For neither was any of these things done in a corner.


And Aram begot Aminadab. And Aminadab begot Naasson. And Naasson begot Salmon.


We suffer persecution, but are not forsaken; we are cast down, but we perish not:


1 Because he hath appointed a day wherein he will judge the world in equity, by the man whom he hath appointed; giving faith to all, by raising him up from the dead.


4 And passing through Pisidia, they came into Pamphylia.


I must work the works of him that sent me, whilst it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.


6 John answered them, saying: I baptize with water; but there hath stood one in the midst of you, whom you know not.


2 They said therefore unto him: Who art thou, that we may give an answer to them that sent us? What sayest thou of thyself?


2 And their whole body, and their necks, and their hands, and their wings, and the circles were full of eyes, round about the four wheels.


4 Command the whole people to separate themselves from the tents of Core and Dathan and Abiron.


And Moses called Misael and Elisaphan, the sons of Oziel, the uncle of Aaron, and said to them: Go and take away your brethren from before the sanctuary, and carry them without the camp.


That was the true light, which enlighteneth every man that cometh into this world.


7 Woe to you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites; because you are like to whited sepulchres, which outwardly appear to men beautiful, but within are full of dead men's bones, and of all filthiness.


2 And behold a woman of Canaan who came out of those coasts, crying out, said to him: Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David: my daughter is grieviously troubled by the devil.


4 And I will scatter them as stubble, which is carried away by the wind in the desert.


Thou hast brought a vineyard out of Egypt: thou hast cast cut the Gentiles and planted it.


6 Since the day that I brought my people Israel out of Egypt, I chose no city out of all the tribes of Israel, for a house to be built, that my name might be there: but I chose David to be over my people Israel.


2 Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers.


3 He answered him in the way of his strength: Declare unto me the fewness of my days.


3 And upon all the tall and lofty cedars of Libanus, and upon all the oaks of Basan.


For the vineyard of the Lord of hosts is the house of Israel: and the man of Juda, his pleasant plant: and I looked that he should do judgment, and behold iniquity: and do justice, and behold a cry.


There is none that calleth upon justice, neither is there any one that judgeth truly: but they trust in a mere nothing, and speak vanities: they have conceived labour, and brought forth iniquity.


9 And I will set a sign among them, and I will send of them that shall be saved, to the Gentiles into the sea, into Africa, and Lydia them that draw the bow: into Italy, and Greece, to the islands afar off, to them that have not heard of me, and have not seen my glory. And they shall declare my glory to the Gentiles:


The Lord sent a word into Jacob, and it hath lighted upon Israel.


But your iniquities have divided between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you that he should not hear.


For they that gather it, shall eat it, and shall praise the Lord: and they that bring it together, shall drink it in my holy courts.
