8 Let them be confounded that persecute me, and let not me be confounded: let them be afraid, and let not me be afraid: bring upon them the day of affliction, and with a double destruction, destroy them.


4 As a beast that goeth down in the field, the spirit of the Lord was their leader: so didst thou lead thy people to make thyself a glorious name.


4 For when the Gentiles, who have not the law, do by nature those things that are of the law; these having not the law are a law to themselves:


And Jesus came and touched them: and said to them, Arise, and fear not.

7 Can he be healed that loveth not judgment? and how dost thou so far condemn him that is just?


And he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should no more seduce the nations, till the thousand years be finished. And after that, he must be loosed a little time.


And the angel said to me: Why dost thou wonder? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast which carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.


5 And they brought him to Jesus. And casting their garments on the colt, they set Jesus thereon.


And I will break thy bow in thy left hand, and I will cause thy arrows to fall out of thy right hand.


An end is come, the end is come, it hath awaked against thee: behold it is come.


And I will throw down your altars, and your idols shall be broken in pieces: and I will cast down your slain before your idols.


7 A sword upon their horses, and upon their chariots, and upon all the people that are in the midst of her: and they shall become as women: a sword upon her treasures, and they shall be made a spoil.


3 And I will scatter you among the Gentiles, and I will draw out the sword after you, and your land shall be desert, and your cities destroyed.


5 The Lord will take away from thee all sickness: and the grievous infirmities of Egypt, which thou knowest, he will not bring upon thee, but upon thy enemies.


And the king of the Assyrians sent Rabsaces from Lachis to Jerusalem, to king Ezechias with a great army, and he stood by the conduit of the upper pool in the way of the fuller's held.


8 To whom then have you likened God? or what image will you make for him?


2 Behold these shall come from afar, and behold these from the north and from the sea, and these from the south country.


4 Behold my servants shall rejoice, and you shall be confounded: behold my servants shall praise for joyfulness of heart, and you shall cry for sorrow of heart, and shall howl for grief of spirit.


5 And you shall leave your name for an execration to my elect: and the Lord God shall slay thee, and call his servants by another name.


4 You shah see and your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like an herb, and the hand of the Lord shall be known to his servants, and he shall be angry with his enemies.


And that I might bring my indignation upon her, and take my vengeance: I have shed her blood upon the smooth rock, that it should not be covered.


2 Let them arise, and let the nations come up into the valley of Josaphat: for there I will sit to judge all nations round about.


6 And he said to them : Set your hearts on all the words, which I testify to you this day: which you shall command your children to observe and to do, and to fulfil all that is written in this law:


2 For as the new heavens, and the new earth, which I will make to stand before me, saith the Lord: so shall your seed stand, and your name.


7 Behold I am the Lord the God of all flesh: shall any thing be hard for me?


3 How is the hammer of the whole earth broken, and destroyed! how is Babylon turned into a desert among the nations!
