15 For they seek me from day to day, sad desire to know my ways, as a nation that hath done justice, and hath not forsaken the judgment of their God: they ask of me the judgments of justice: they are willing to approach to God.

Bring out the sword, and shut up the way against them that persecute me : say to my soul : I am thy salvation.


Behold, O Lord, thou hast known all things, the last and those of old: thou hast formed me, and hast laid thy hand upon me.


0 He shall not delight in the strength of the horse: nor take pleasure in the legs of a man.


4 Nations rose up, and were angry: sorrows took hold on the inhabitants of Philisthiim.


In the same hour there appeared fingers, as it were of the hand of a man, writing over against the candlestick upon the surface of the wall of the king's palace: and the king beheld the joints of the hand that wrote.


All we like sheep have gone astray, every one hath turned aside into his own way: and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.


The islands saw it, and feared, the ends of the earth were astonished, they drew near, and came.


And the south part, and the breadth of the plain of Jericho the city of palm trees as far as Segor.


For all our days are spent; and in thy wrath we have fainted away. Our years shall be considered spider:

6 Let fear and dread fall upon them, in the greatness of thy arm: let them become unmoveable as a stone, until thy people, O Lord, pass by: until this thy people pass by, which thou hast possessed.


And the Lord called Moses, and spoke to him from the tabernacle of the testimony, saying:


Speak to the children of Israel, and thou shalt say to them: The man among you that shall offer to the Lord a sacrifice of the cattle, that is, offering victims of oxen and sheep,


I would set judgment before him, and would fill my mouth with complaints.


Let them be confounded and ashamed that seek after my soul. Let them be turned back and be confounded that devise against me.


Behold the man that made not God his helper: But trusted in the abundance of his riches: and prevailed in his vanity.


And the water of the sea shall be dried up, and the river shall be wasted and dry.


From the beginning of the world they have not heard, nor perceived with the ears: the eye hath not seen, O God, besides thee, what things thou hast prepared for them that wait for thee.


9 Ain. My eye is afflicted, and hath not been quiet, because there was no rest:
