His spirit shall go forth, and he shall return into his earth: in that day all their thoughts shall perish.


They are consumed, and are broken together: they could not save him that carried them, and they themselves shall go into captivity.


Give praise to the Lord on the harp; sing to him with the psaltery, the instrument of ten strings.


He that walketh without blemish, and worketh justice:


Before she was in labour, she brought forth; before her time came to be delivered, she brought forth a man child.


4 Seek ye good, and not evil, that you may live: and the Lord the God of hosts will be with you, as you have said.


4 Gold by weight for every vessel for the ministry. And silver by weight ac- cording to the diversity of the vessels and uses.


2 I will declare thy name to my brethren; in the midst of the church will I praise thee.


A psalm for David himself. Unto thee will I cry, O Lord: O my God, be not thou silent to me: lest thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit.


0 And they shall teach thee: they shall speak to thee, and utter words out of their hearts.


2 And the Lord spoke to you from the midst of the fire. You heard the voice of his words, but you saw not any form at all.


Declare his glory among the Gentiles: his wonders among all people.


6 Behold, I have graven thee in my hands: thy walls are always before my eyes.


For we, who have believed, shall enter into rest; as he said: As I have sworn in my wrath; If they shall enter into my rest; and this indeed when the works from the foundation of the world were finished.


3 Nevertheless I must walk to day and to morrow, and the day following, because it cannot be that a prophet perish, out of Jerusalem.


And now hear these things, thou that art delicate, and dwellest confidently, that sayest in thy heart: I am, and there is none else besides me: I shall not sit as a widow, and I shall not know barrenness.


9 And he that sent me, is with me, and he hath not left me alone: for I do always the things that please him.


To execute vengeance upon the nations, chastisements among the people:


4 And he brought me in by the door of the gate of the Lord's house, which looked to the north: and behold women sat there mourning for Adonis.


In Jerusalem also Josaphat appointed Levites, and priests and chiefs of the families of Israel, to judge the judgment and the cause of the Lord for the inhabitants thereof.


for in the hand of the Lord there is a cup of strong wine full of mixture. And he hath poured it out from this to that: but the dregs thereof are not emptied: all the sinners of the earth shall drink.


I therefore, a prisoner in the Lord, beseech you that you walk worthy of the vocation in which you are called,


And shall be broken. Gripings and pains shall take hold of them, they shall be in pain as a woman in labour. Every one shall be amazed at his neighbour, their countenances shall be as faces burnt.


3 Again you have heard that it was said to them of old, Thou shalt not forswear thyself: but thou shalt perform thy oaths to the Lord.


4 If God ever did so as to go, and take to himself a nation out of the midst of nations by temptations, signs, and wonders, by fight, and a strong hand, and stretched out arm, and horrible visions according to all the things that the Lord your God did for you in Egypt, before thy eyes.


7 As a woman with child, when she draweth near the time of her delivery, is in pain, and crieth out in her pangs: so are we become in thy presence, O Lord.


To whom have you likened me, and made me equal, and compared me, and made me like?


For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity: your lips have spoken lies, and your tongue uttereth iniquity.


8 But you shall be glad and rejoice for ever in these things, which I create: for behold I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, end the people thereof joy.


3 And I will bring upon the land all my words, that I have spoken against it, all that is written in this book, all that Jeremias hath prophesied against all nations:


1 The voice of joy and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that shall say: Give ye glory to the Lord of hosts, for the Lord is good, for his mercy endureth for ever: and of them that shall bring their vows into the house of the Lord: for I will bring back the captivity of the land as at the first, saith the Lord.


4 And if these three men, Noe, Daniel, and Job, shall be in it: they shall deliver their own souls by their justice, saith the Lord of hosts.


9 And when the wicked shall depart from his wickedness, and shall do judgments, and justice: be shall live in them.


5 And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing before him: for he doth according to his will, I as well with the powers of heaven, as among the inhabitants of the earth: and there is none that can resist his hand, and say to him: Why hast thou done it?


And the Lord God prepared an ivy, and it came up over the head of Jonas, to be a shadow over his head, and to cover him (for he was fatigued): and Jonas was exceeding glad of the ivy.


And proclamation was made in Juda and Jerusalem to all the children of the captivity, that they should assemble together into Jerusalem.


Let them be confounded and ashamed that seek after my soul. Let them be turned back and be confounded that devise against me.


4 The depths were not as yet, and I was already conceived. neither had the fountains of waters as yet sprung out:


He shall not return into the land of Egypt, but the Assyrian shall be his king: because they would not be converted.
