2 Amen, I say to you, this generation shall not pass away, till all things be fulfilled.


Aleph. How hath the Lord covered with obscurity the daughter of Sion in his wrath! how hath he cast down from heaven to the earth the glorious one of Israel, and hath not remembered his footstool in the day of his anger!


6 For he will instruct him in judgment : his God will teach him.


1 And after three days and a half, the spirit of life from God entered into them. And they stood upon their feet, and great fear fell upon them that saw them.


1 For with the speech of lips, and with another tongue he will speak to this people.


4 And my hand hath found the strength of the people as a nest; and as eggs are gathered, that are left, so have I gathered all the earth: and there was none that moved the wing, or opened the mouth, or made the least noise.


Come ye, therefore, let us go down, and there may not understand one another's speech.


And they said: Come, let us make a city and a tower, the top whereof may reach to heaven: and let us make our name famous before we be scattered abroad into all lands.


1 And the he goat, is the king of the Greeks, and the great horn that was between his eyes, the same is the first king.

7 Remember what my substance is for hast thou made all the children of men in vain?


Take away the rust from silver, and there shall come forth a most pure vessel:


8 And my people shall sit in the beauty of peace, and in the tabernacles of confidence, and in wealthy rest.


9 Give heed to me, O Lord, and hear the voice of my adversaries.


2 O house of David, this saith the Lord: Judge ye judgement in the morning, and deliver him that is oppressed by violence out of the hand of the oppressor: lest my indignation go forth like a fire, and be kindled, and there be none to quench it, because of the evil of your ways.


6 Therefore thus saith the Lord: Behold I will send thee away from off the face of the earth: this year shalt thou die: for thou hast spoken against the Lord.


Who is this that cometh up as a flood: and his streams swell like those of rivers ?


0 And I will espouse thee to me in faith: and thou shalt know that I am the Lord.


8 Who is the man that shall live, and not see death: that shall deliver his soul from the hand of hell?


0 I have seen the trouble, which God hath given the sons of men to be exercised in it.


4 Nun. Thy prophets have seen false and foolish things for thee: and they have not laid open thy iniquity, to excite thee to penance: but they have seen for thee false revelations and banishments.


2 And the earth shall hear the core, and the wine, and the oil, and these shall hear Jezrahel.
