And give him no silence till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.


7 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper: and every tongue that resisteth thee in judgment, thou shalt condemn. This is the inheritance of the servants of the Lord, and their justice with me, saith the Lord.


Therefore the showers were withholden, and there was no lateward rain: thou hadst a harlot's forehead, thou wouldst not blush.


And the word of the Lord came to me, saying:


5 Behold, an inhabitant shall come, who was not with me, he that was a stranger to thee before, shall be joined to thee.


0 The children of thy barrenness shall still say in thy ears: The place is too strait for me, make me room to dwell in.


1 Having the glory of God, and the light thereof was like to a precious stone, as to the jasper stone, even as crystal.


6 Thus saith the Lord: Let thy voice cease from weeping, and thy eyes from tears: for there is a reward for thy work, saith the Lord: and they shall return out of the land of the enemy.


Rejoice, and give praise together, O ye deserts of Jerusalem: for the Lord hath comforted his people: he hath redeemed Jerusalem.


The Lord hath given me a learned tongue, that I should know how to uphold by word him that is weary: he wakeneth in the morning, in the morning he wakeneth my ear, that I may hear him as a master.


You that contribute gold out of the bag, and weigh out silver in the scales: and hire a goldsmith to make a god: and they fall down and worship.


3 He that rendereth evil for good, evil shall not depart from his house.


6 By my own self have I sworn, saith the Lord: because thou hast done this thing, and hast not spared thy only begotten son for my sake:


4 And the Lord said to Abram, after Lot was separated from him: Lift up thy eyes, and look from the place wherein thou now art, to the north and to the south, to the east and to the west.


3 Now after two days, he departed thence, and went into Galilee.


6 And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying:


And now thus saith the Lord of hosts the God of Israel: Why do you commit this great evil against your own souls, that there should die of you man and woman, child and suckling out of the midst of Juda, and no remnant should be left you:


9 And when the wicked shall depart from his wickedness, and shall do judgments, and justice: be shall live in them.
