5 And they shall go about passing through the land: and when they shall see the bone of a man, they shall set up a sign by it, till the buriers bury it in the valley of the multitude of Cog.


3 But we ought to give thanks to God always for you, brethren, beloved of God, for that God hath chosen you firstfruits unto salvation, in sanctification of the spirit, and faith of the truth:


And I understood: and behold a he goat came from the west on the face of the whole earth, and he touched not the ground, and the he goat had a notable horn between his eyes.


7 And thy heart was lifted up with thy beauty: thou best lost thy wisdom in thy beauty, I have cast thee to the ground: I have set thee before the face of kings, that they might behold thee.


4 Behold, you are of nothing, and your work of that which hath no being: he that hath chosen you is an abomination.


WOE to the land, the winged cymbal, which is beyond the rivers of Ethiopia,


0 Thou shalt die the death of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord God.


2 But thou hast not called upon me, O Jacob, neither hast thou laboured about me, O Israel.


1 I am, I am the Lord: and there is no saviour besides me.


2 Let them come, and tell us all things that are to come: tell us the former things what they were: and we will set our heart upon them, and shall know the latter end of them, and tell us the things that are to come.


2 Have the gods of the nations delivered them whom my fathers have destroyed, Gozam, and Haram, and Reseph, and the children of Eden, that were in Thalassar?


And shall be broken. Gripings and pains shall take hold of them, they shall be in pain as a woman in labour. Every one shall be amazed at his neighbour, their countenances shall be as faces burnt.


8 He shall come into Aiath, he shall pass into Magron: at Machmas he shall lay up his carriages.


9 And they shall go into the holes of rocks, and into the caves of the earth from the face of the fear of the Lord, and from the glory of his majesty, when he shall rise up to strike the earth.


0 Such is also the way of an adulterous woman, who eateth, and wipeth her mouth, and saith: I have done no evil.


for God is the judge. One he putteth down, and another he lifteth up:


when I shall take a time, I will judge justices.


6 I studied that I might know this thing, it is a labour in my sight:


3 Arise, why sleepest thou, O Lord? arise, and cast us not off to the end.


2 And the Lord saved Ezechias and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, out of the hand of Sennacherib king of the Assyrians, and out of the hand of all, and gave them treasures on every side.


7 Thy dwelling and thy going out, and thy coming in, and thy way I knew before, and thy rage against me.


And when he heard of Theraca king of Ethiopia: Behold, he is come out to fight with thee: and was going against him, he sent messengers to Ezechias, saying:


4 Nations rose up, and were angry: sorrows took hold on the inhabitants of Philisthiim.


9 Send therefore now presently, and gather together thy cattle, and all that thou hast in the field: for men and beasts, and all things that shall be found abroad, and not gathered together out of the fields, which the hail shall fall upon, shall die.


The king of Egypt said to them: Why do you Moses and Aaron draw off the people from their works? Get you gone to your burdens.


3 That justify the wicked for gifts, and take away the justice of the just from him.


9 Their roaring like that of a lion, they shall roar like young lions: yea they shall roar, and take hold of the prey, and they shall keep fast hold of it, and there shall be none to deliver it.


0 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the remnant of Israel, and they that shall escape of the house of Jacob, shall lean no more upon him that striketh them: but they shall lean upon the Lord the Holy One of Israel, in truth.


5 For yet a little and a very little while, and my indignation shall cease, and my wrath shall be upon their wickedness.


Howl, O Hesebon, for Hai is wasted. Cry, ye daughters of Rabbath, gird yourselves with haircloth: mourn and go about by the hedges: for Melchom shall be carried into captivity, his priests, and his princes together.


9 And he said to me: I will shew thee what things are to come to pass in the end of the malediction: for the time hath its end.

1 And the Philistine came on, and drew nigh against David, and his armourbearer before him.


7 Thou hast made all the borders of the earth: the summer and the spring were formed by thee.


Prophesy therefore concerning the land of Israel, and say to the mountains, and to the hills, to the ridges, and to the valleys: Thus saith the Lord God: Behold I have spoken in my zeal, and in my indignation, because you have borne the shame of the Gentiles.
