9 And they knew not till the flood came, and took them all away; so also shall the coming of the Son of man be.


4 When thou shalt sell any thing to thy neighbour, or shalt buy of him; grieve not thy brother: but thou shalt buy of him according to the number of years from the jubilee.


And hospitality do not forget; for by this some, being not aware of it, have entertained angels.


6 And to none of them was Elias sent, but to Sarepta of Sidon, to a widow woman.


But have hated Esau? and I have made his mountains a wilderness, and given his inheritance to the dragons of the desert.


Upon the dark mountain lift ye up a banner, exalt the voice, lift up the hand, and let the rulers go into the gates.

Open ye the gates, and let the just nation, that keepeth the truth, enter in.


So shall the king of the Assyrians lead away the prisoners of Egypt, and the captivity of Ethiopia, young and old. naked and barefoot, with their buttocks uncovered to the shame of Egypt.


And I will deliver Egypt into the hand of cruel masters, and a strong king shall rule over them, saith the Lord the God of hosts.


And you shall say in that day: Praise ye the Lord, and call upon his name: make his works known among the people: remember that his name is high.


9 And they shall go into the holes of rocks, and into the caves of the earth from the face of the fear of the Lord, and from the glory of his majesty, when he shall rise up to strike the earth.


1 The lofty eyes of man are humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be made to stoop: and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day.


2 The enemy shall have no advantage over him: nor the son of iniquity have power to hurt him.


0 For I am the Lord thy God, who brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.


In her houses shall God be known, when he shall protect her.


1 And they burnt incense there upon altars after the manner of the nations which the Lord had removed from their face: and they did wicked things, provoking the Lord.


0 Enter thou into the rock, and hide thee in the pit from the face of the fear of the Lord, and from the glory of his majesty.


And they shall be afraid, and ashamed of Ethiopia their hope, and of Egypt their glory.


5 Can a woman forget her infant, so as not to have pity on the son of her womb? and if she should forget, yet will not I forget thee.


And the Lord said to me: Say not: I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee: and whatsoever I shall command thee, thou shalt speak.


2 And you shall know that I am the Lord, when I shall have brought you into the land of Israel, into the land for which I lifted up my hand to give it to your fathers.


9 And I said: Ah, ah, ah, O Lord God: they say of me: Doth not this man speak by parables?


And this man said to me: Son of man, see with thy eyes, and hear with thy ears, and set thy heart upon all that I shall shew thee: for thou art brought hither that they may be shewn to thee: declare all that thou seest, to the house of Israel.


And I heard, and understood not. And I said: O my lord, what shall be after these things?


5 And I had no mercy: so turning again I have thought in these days to do good to the house of Juda, and Jerusalem: fear not.


You shall draw waters with joy out of the saviour's fountains:


4 Thus saith the Lord your redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: For your sake I sent to Babylon, and have brought down all their bars, and the Chaldeans glorying in their ships.


4 And I will fill the soul of the priests with fatness: and my people shall be filled with my good things, saith the Lord.


The Lord is a jealous God, and a revenger: the Lord is a revenger, and hath wrath: the Lord taketh vengeance on his adversaries, and he is angry with his enemies.
