The earth mourned, and faded away, and is weakened: the world faded away, the height of the people of the earth is weakened.


9 And thou hast girded me with strength unto battle; and hast subdued under me them that rose up against me.


Behold my eye hath seen all these things, and my ear hath heard them, and I have understood them all.


5 And set it before Saul, and before his servants. And when they had eaten they rose up, and walked all that night.


4 But death reigned from Adam unto Moses, even over them also who have not sinned after the similitude of the transgression of Adam, who is a figure of him who was to come.


In the four and twentieth day of the eleventh month which is called Sabath, in the second year of Darius, the word of the Lord came to Zacharias the son of Barachias, the son of Addo, the prophet, saying:


4 Nun. The yoke of my iniquities hath watched: they are folded together in his hand, and put upon my neck: my strength is weakened: the Lord hath delivered me into a hand out of which I am not able to rise.


5 And there shall be no work for Egypt, to make head or tail, him that bendeth down, or that holdeth back.


7 And it shall come to pass after seventy years, that the Lord will visit Tyre, and will bring her back again to her traffic: and she shall commit fornication again with all the kingdoms of the world upon the face of the earth.


BEHOLD the Lord shall lay waste the earth, and shall strip it, and shall afflict the face thereof, and scatter abroad the inhabitants thereof.


With fir trees of Sanir they have built thee with all sea planks: they have taken cedars from Libanus to make thee masts.
