1 And the merchants of the earth shall weep, and mourn over her: for no man shall buy their merchandise any more.

7 Israel is a scattered flock, the lions have driven him away: first the king of Assyria devoured him: and last this Nabuchodonosor king of Babylon hath broken his bones.


2 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, who didst rise in the morning? how art thou fallen to the earth, that didst wound the nations?


And I will give children to be their princes, and the effeminate shall rule over them.


5 For they are fled from before the swords, from the sword that hung over them, from the bent bow, from the face of a grievous battle.


3 Thou hast failed in the multitude or thy counsels: let now the astrologers stand and save thee, they that gazed at the stars, and counted the months, that from them they might tell the things that shall come to thee.


For they are called of the holy city, and are established upon the God of Israel: the Lord of hosts is his name.


2 There is no peace to the wicked, saith the Lord.
