1 Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharao king of Egypt: and behold it is not bound up, to be healed, to be tied up with clothes, and swathed with linen, that it might recover strength, and hold the sword.


4 A wild ass accustomed to the wilderness in the desire of his heart, snuffed up the wind of his love: none shall turn her away: all that seek her shall not fail: in her monthly filth they shall find her.


2 I will strengthen them in the Lord, and they shall walk in his name, saith the Lord.


7 And thou my servant Jacob, fear not and be not thou dismayed, O Israel: for behold I will save thee from afar off, and thy seed out of the ]and of thy captivity: and Jacob shall return and be at rest, and prosper: and there shall be none to terrify him.


2 Her voice shall sound like brass, for they shall hasten with an army, and with axes they shall come against her, as hewers of wood.


9 In that day there shall be an altar of the Lord in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a monument of the Lord at the borders thereof:


6 As free, and not as making liberty a cloak for malice, but as the servants of God.

4 And I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and will put my sword in his hand: and I will break the arms of Pharao, and they shall groan bitterly being slain before his face.


3 And Saul said to Jonathan: Tell me what thou hast done. And Jonathan told him, and said: I did but taste a little honey with the end of the rod, which was in my hand, and behold I must die.


2 And thou be chosen of the stock of Cin, how long shalt thou be able to continue? For Assur shall take thee captive.


Have you forgotten the evils of your fathers, and the evils of the kings of Juda, and the evils of their wives, and your evils, and the evils of your wives, that they have done in the land of Juda, and in the streets of Jerusalem?


2 Therefore, thus saith the Lord God: Behold, I come against Pharao king of Egypt, and I will break into pieces his strong arm, which is already broken: and I will cause the sword to fall out of his hand:


4 Give them, O Lord. What wilt thou give them? Give them a womb without children, and dry breasts.
