Heth. Their face is now made blacker than coals, and they are not known in the streets: their skin hath stuck to their bones, it is withered, and is become like wood.


1 I charge thee before God, and Christ Jesus, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without prejudice, doing nothing by declining to either side.


Thus saith the Lord: For three crimes of Juda, and for four I will not convert him: because he hath cast away the law of the Lord, and hath not kept his commandments: for their idols have caused them to err, after which their fathers have walked.


We were dragged by the necks, we were weary and no rest was given us.


0 Extend thy mercy to them that know thee, and thy justice to them that are right in heart.


0 Mayst thou take a wife, and another sleep with her. Mayst thou build a house, and not dwell therein. Mayest thou plant a vineyard and not gather the vintage thereof.


1 Therefore I also will walk them, and bring them into their enemies' land until their uncircumcised mind be ashamed: then shall they pray for their sins.


0 But even though they shall have hired the nations, now will I gather them together: and they shall rest a while from the burden of the king, and the princes.


2 I shall write to him my manifold laws, which have been accounted as foreign.
