The just is delivered out of distress: and the wicked shall be given up for him.


3 Is any of you sad? Let him pray. Is he cheerful in mind? Let him sing.


4 But Jesus did not trust himself unto them, for that he knew all men,


3 Your words have been unsufferable to me, saith the Lord.


If you offer the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? and if you offer the lame and the sick, is it not evil? offer it to thy prince, if he will be pleased with it, or if he will regard thy face, saith the Lord of hosts.


0 And my enemy shall behold, and she shall be covered with shame, who saith to me: Where is the Lord thy God? My eyes shall look down upon her: now shall she be trodden under foot as the mire of the streets.


9 As if a man should flee from the face of a lion, and a bear should meet him: or enter into the house, and lean with his hand upon the wall, and a serpent should bite him.


I struck you with a burning wind, and with mildew, the palmerworm hath eaten up your many gardens, and your vineyards: your olive groves, and fig groves: yet you returned not to me, saith the Lord.


The Lord God hath sworn by his holiness, that lo, the days shall come upon you, when they shall lift you up on pikes, and what shall remain of you in boiling pots.


5 And he that holdeth the bow shall not stand, and the swift of foot shall not escape, neither shall the rider of the horse save his life.


Who were clothed with blue, princes, and rulers, beautiful youths, all horsemen, mounted upon horses.


1 I decked thee also with ornaments, and put bracelets on thy hands, and a chain about thy neck.


3 The Lord standeth up to judge, and he standeth to judge the people.


8 Pride goeth before destruction: and the spirit is lifted up before a fall.

0 And I will remove far off from you the northern enemy: and I will drive him into a land unpassable, and desert, with his face towards the east sea, and his hinder part towards the utmost sea: and his stench shall ascend, and his rottenness shall go up, because he hath done proudly.


Thus saith the Lord of hosts: I am returned to Sion, and I will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called The city of truth, and the mountain of the Lord of hosts, The sanctified mountain.
