1 Now all chastisement for the present indeed seemeth not to bring with it joy, but sorrow: but afterwards it will yield, to them that are exercised by it, the most peaceable fruit of justice.


For it is impossible that with the blood of oxen and goats sin should be taken away.


1 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me from the least to the greatest of them:


Now this is eternal life: That they may know thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.


1 Where there is neither Gentile nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian nor Scythian, bond nor free. But Christ is all, and in all.


That I have great sadness, and continual sorrow in my heart.


And they laid hands upon them, and put them in hold till the next day; for it was now evening.


There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.


And they had no son, for that Elizabeth was barren, and they both were well advanced in years.


6 Now when Peter was in the court below, there cometh one of the maidservants of the high priest.


2 In the midst whereof above shall be a hole for the head, and a border round about it woven, as is wont to be made in the outmost parts of garments, that it may not easily be broken.


2 And the fourth angel sounded the trumpet, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars, so that the third part of them was darkened, and the day did not shine for a third part of it, and the night in like manner.


Using hospitality one towards another, without murmuring,


8 Whereupon neither was the first indeed dedicated without blood.


The former indeed had also justifications of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary.


And (as it may be said) even Levi who received tithes, paid tithes in Abraham:


2 And as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed: but thou art the selfsame, and thy years shall not fail.


0 Jesus answered them: Have not I chosen you twelve; and one of you is a devil?


For behold the stone that I have laid before Jesus: upon one stone there are seven eyes: behold I will grave the graving thereof, saith the Lord of hosts: and I will take away the iniquity of that land in one day.


5 Princes went before joined with singers, in the midst of young damsels playing on timbrels.


5 And thou shalt make the rational of judgment with embroidered work of divers colours, according to the workmanship of the ephod, of gold, violet, and purple, and scarlet twice dyed, and fine twisted linen.


8 Amen I say to you, whatsoever you shall bind upon earth, shall be bound also in heaven; and whatsoever you shall loose upon earth, shall be loosed also in heaven.


0 For we must all be manifested before the judgement seat of Christ, that every one may receive the proper things of the body, according as he hath done, whether it be good or evil.


Who in the days of his flesh, with a strong cry and tears, offering up prayers and supplications to him that was able to save him from death, was heard for his reverence.


0 And divers washings, and justices of the flesh laid on them until the time of correction.
