Then said I: Behold, I come to do thy will, O God: he taketh away the first, that he may establish that which followeth.


1 The tabernacle also and all the vessels of the ministry, in like manner, he sprinkled with blood.


3 It is necessary therefore that the patterns of heavenly things should be cleansed with these: but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.


1 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.


2 For whereas for the time you ought to be masters, you have need to be taught again what are the first elements of the words of God: and you are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.


It is a faithful saying: and these things I will have thee affirm constantly: that they, who believe in God, may be careful to excel in good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.


8 Being then freed from sin, we have been made servants of justice.


Holocausts for sin did not please thee.


6 And may expiate the sanctuary from the uncleanness of the children of Israel, and from their transgressions, and all their sins. According to this rite shall he do to the tabernacle of the testimony, which is fixed among them in the midst of the filth of their habitation.


6 For where there is a testament, the death of the testator must of necessity come in.

3 Now in saying a new, he hath made the former old. And that which decayeth and groweth old, is near its end.


Then said I: Behold I come: in the head of the book it is written of me: that I should do thy will, O God.
