6 And do not forget to do good, and to impart; for by such sacrifices God's favour is obtained.


But without faith it is impossible to please God. For he that cometh to God, must believe that he is, and is a rewarder to them that seek him.


And you know that he appeared to take away our sins, and in him there is no sin.


9 Revenge not yourselves, my dearly beloved; but give place unto wrath, for it is written: Revenge is mine, I will repay, saith the Lord


And are fallen away: to be renewed again to penance, crucifying again to themselves the Son of God, and making him a mockery.


9 And we have the more firm prophetical word: whereunto you do well to attend, as to a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:


2 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation; for when he hath been proved, he shall receive a crown of life, which God hath promised to them that love him.


0 And they indeed for a few days, according to their own pleasure, instructed us: but he, for our profit, that we might receive his sanctification.


But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour: that, through the grace of God, he might taste death for all.


0 In the promise also of God he staggered not by distrust; but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God:


5 Who shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience bearing witness to them, and their thoughts between themselves accusing, or also defending one another,


4 We have heard the fame thereof, our hands grow feeble: anguish hath taken hold of us, as a woman in labor.


6 A man's gift enlargeth his may, and maketh him room before princes.


And I beheld, and lo a lamb stood upon mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty-four thousand, having his name, and the name of his Father, written on their foreheads.


Looking on Jesus, the author and finisher of faith, who having joy set before him, endured the cross, despising the shame, and now sitteth on the right hand of the throne of God.


Now consider how great this man is, to whom also Abraham the patriarch gave tithes out of the principal things.


And we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and of our gathering together unto him:


3 And when they were sailing, he slept; and there came down a storm of wind upon the lake, and they were filled, and were in danger.


0 On these two commandments dependeth the whole law and the prophets.


6 Evil thoughts are an abomination to the Lord: and pure words most beautiful shall be confirmed by him.


1 Substance got in haste shall be diminished: but that which by little and little is gathered with the hand shall increase.


He that keepeth his mouth, keepeth his soul: but he that hath no guard on his speech shall meet with evils.


But having suffered many things before, and been shamefully treated (as you know) at Philippi, we had confidence in our God, to speak unto you the gospel of God in much carefulness.


0 But he said: No, father Abraham: but if one went to them from the dead, they will do penance.


4 Then shall the king say to them that shall be on his right hand: Come, ye blessed of my Father, possess you the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.


6 Behold thou art fair, my beloved, and comely. Our bed is flourishing.


Have confidence in the Lord with all thy heart, and lean not upon thy own prudence.


7 A man that doth violence to the blood of a person, if he flee even to the pit, no man will stay him.


1 As coals are to burning coals, and wood to fire, so an angry man stirreth up strife.
