5 For we have not a high priest, who can not have compassion on our infirmities: but one tempted in all things like as we are, without sin.


5 For as I have spoken, so will I do to all this wicked multitude, that hath risen up together against me: in this wilderness shall it faint away and die.


7 And we beseech thee that we may have leave to pass through thy country. We will not go through the fields, nor through the vineyards, we will not drink the waters of thy wells, but we will go by the common highway, neither turning aside to the right hand, nor to the left, till we are past thy borders.


1 Let us hasten therefore to enter into that rest; lest any man fall into the same example of unbelief.


Let us fear therefore lest the promise being left of entering into his rest, any of you should be thought to be wanting.


8 Lest perhaps the inhabitants of the land, out of which thou hast brought us, say: The Lord could not bring them into the land that he promised them, and he hated them: therefore he brought them out, that he might kill them in the wilderness,


6 He could not bring the people into the land for which he had sworn, therefore did he kill them in the wilderness.


8 Say therefore to them: As I live, saith the Lord: According as you have spoken in my hearing, so will I do to you.


2 Go not up, for the Lord is not with you: lest you fall before your enemies.


9 So they did eat, and were filled exceedingly, and he gave them their desire:


For his disciples were gone into the city to buy meats.


And be not conformed to this world; but be reformed in the newness of your mind, that you may prove what is the good, and the acceptable, and the perfect will of God.


Neither doth any man take the honour to himself, but he that is called by God, as Aaron was.
