8 The Lord grant unto him to find mercy of the Lord in that day: and in how many things he ministered unto me at Ephesus, thou very well knowest.


I beg of Evodia, and I beseech Syntyche, to be of one mind in the Lord.


For if that former had been faultless, there should not indeed a place have been sought for a second.


0 He that descended is the same also that ascended above all the heavens, that he might fill all things.


8 Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward.


Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation; in the day of temptation in the desert,


0 For we know him that hath said: Vengeance belongeth to me, and I will repay. And again: The Lord shall judge his people.


3 Until we all meet into the unity of faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the age of the fulness of Christ;


For which cause, forbearing no longer, we thought it good to remain at Athens alone:


But with most of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the desert.


6 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they grow much towards ungodliness.


1 Which some promising, have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen.


7 I have therefore glory in Christ Jesus towards God.


Who is faithful to him that made him, as was also Moses in all his house.


9 Jesus saith to him: Because thou hast seen me, Thomas, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and have believed.


3 And Aggeus the messenger of the Lord, as one of the messengers of the Lord, spoke, saying to the people: I am with you, saith the Lord.


He hath made a remembrance of his wonderful works, being a merciful and gracious Lord:


0 But these men blaspheme whatever things they know not: and what things soever they naturally know, like dumb beasts, in these they are corrupted.


For in a certain place he spoke of the seventh day thus: And God rested the seventh day from all his works.


1 To what purpose do you offer me the multitude of your victims, saith the Lord? I am full, I desire not holocausts of rams, and fat of fatlings, and blood of calves, and lambs, and buck goats.


1 But thou, O man of God, fly these things: and pursue justice, godliness, faith, charity, patience, mildness.


And we charge you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you withdraw yourselves from every brother walking disorderly, and not according to the tradition which they have received of us.


And then that wicked one shall be revealed whom the Lord Jesus shall kill with the spirit of his mouth; and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming, him,


In a flame of fire, giving vengeance to them who know not God, and who obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.


1 Fathers, provoke not your children to indignation, lest they be discouraged.


That their hearts may be comforted, being instructed in charity, and unto all riches of fulness of understanding, unto the knowledge of the mystery of God the Father and of Christ Jesus:


1 And you, whereas you were some time alienated and enemies in mind in evil works:


6 And to pass by you into Macedonia, and again from Macedonia to come to you, and by you to be brought on my way towards Judea.


1 For it hath been signified unto me, my brethren, of you, by them that are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you.


Salute Prisca and Aquila, my helpers in Christ Jesus,


5 For I would not have you ignorant, brethren, of this mystery, (lest you should be wise in your own conceits), that blindness in part has happened in Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles should come in.


2 Why so? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were of works. For they stumbled at the stumblingstone.


But when the morning was come, Jesus stood on the shore: yet the disciples knew not that it was Jesus.


3 In that day, saith the Lord of hosts, I will take thee, O Zorobabel the son of Salathiel, my servant, saith the Lord, and will make thee as a signet, for I have chosen thee, saith the Lord of hosts.


And the nations heard of him, and took him, but not without receiving wounds: and they brought him in chains into the land of Egypt.


1 Say: I am a sign of things to come to you: as I have done, so shall it be done to them: they shall be removed from their dwellings, and go into captivity.


8 And I saw, and there was no one even among them to consult, or who, when I asked, could answer a word.


0 Woe to you that call evil good, and good evil: that put darkness for light, and light for darkness: that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter.


And a voice came out from the throne, saying: Give praise to our God, all ye his servants; and you that fear him, little and great.


For her sins have reached unto heaven, and the Lord hath remembered her iniquities.


And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world.


And you, employing all care, minister in your faith, virtue; and in virtue, knowledge;


0 But the God of all grace, who hath called us into his eternal glory in Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a little, will himself perfect you, and confirm you, and establish you.


4 But if also you suffer any thing for justice' sake, blessed are ye. And be not afraid of their fear, and be not troubled.


0 Saying: This is the blood of the testament, which God hath enjoined unto you.


And (as it may be said) even Levi who received tithes, paid tithes in Abraham:


5 Of whom all paternity in heaven and earth is named,


6 The earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof.


1 And now I am not in the world, and these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep them in thy name whom thou has given me; that they may be one, as we also are.


3 And they appointed two, Joseph, called Barsabas, who was surnamed Justus, and Matthias.


See the things that are according to outward appearance. If any man trust to himself, that he is Christ's, let him think this again with himself, that as he is Christ's, so are we also.


For unto us also it hath been declared, in like manner as unto them. But the word of hearing did not profit them, not being mixed with faith of those things they heard.


Not according to the testament which I made to their fathers, on the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt: because they continued not in my testament: and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.


4 For Jesus is not entered into the holies made with hands, the patterns of the true: but into heaven itself, that he may appear now in the presence of God for us.


8 A man making void the law of Moses, dieth without any mercy under two or three witnesses:


2 But call to mind the former days, wherein, being illuminated, you endured a great fight of afflictions.


But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea, which is moved and carried about by the wind.
