0 For the sorrow that is according to God worketh penance, steadfast unto salvation; but the sorrow of the world worketh death.


6 For the Lord himself shall come down from heaven with commandment, and with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God: and the dead who are in Christ, shall rise first.


0 Which had been some time incredulous, when they waited for the patience of God in the days of Noe, when the ark was a building: wherein a few, that is, eight souls, were saved by water.


For therefore also you pay tribute. For they are the ministers of God, serving unto this purpose.


Now the God of patience and of comfort grant you to be of one mind one towards another, according to Jesus Christ:


4 The wrath of a king is as messengers of death : and the wise man will pacify it.


But as touching the charity of brotherhood, we have no need to write to you: for yourselves have learned of God to love one another.


What shall we say, then? Is the law sin? God forbid. But I do not know sin, but by the law; for I had not known concupiscence, if the law did not say: Thou shalt not covet.


1 The death of the wicked is very evil: and they that hate the just shall be guilty.


And the angels who kept not their principality, but forsook their own habitation, he hath reserved under darkness in everlasting chains, unto the judgment of the great day.


4 Wherefore he saith: Rise thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead: and Christ shall enlighten thee.


Arise, arise, put on strength, O thou arm of the Lord, arise as in the days of old, in the ancient generations. Hast not thou struck the proud one, and wounded the dragon?


9 And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words, which they that heard excused themselves, that the word might not be spoken to them:


0 O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding the profane novelties of words, and oppositions of knowledge falsely so called.


The victims of the wicked are abominable to the Lord: the vows of the just are acceptable.


2 Who is on the right hand of God, swallowing down death, that we might be made heirs of life everlasting: being gone into heaven, the angels and powers and virtues being made subject to him.


And they two shall be in one flesh. Therefore now they are not two, but one flesh.


The sun shall not burn thee by day: nor the moon by night.


For the life was manifested; and we have seen and do bear witness, and declare unto you the life eternal, which was with the Father, and hath appeared to us:


9 For it is written: I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and the prudence of the prudent I will reject.


1 A fool is born to his own disgrace: and even his father shall not rejoice in a fool.


And all went to be enrolled, every one into his own city.


Having an appearance indeed of godliness, but denying the power thereof. Now these avoid.


4 He is faithful who hath called you, who also will do it.


You that stand in the house of the Lord, in the courts of the house of our God.


2 But the Lord is my refuge: and my God the help of my hope.


Behold thou hast made my days measurable : and my substance is as nothing before thee. And indeed all things are vanity : every man living.


Therefore various thoughts succeed one another in me, and my mind is hurried away to different things.


2 But if thou hast any thing to say, answer me, speak : for I would have thee to appear just.


1 And immediately the sun rose upon him, after he was past Phanuel; but he halted on his foot.


If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just, to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all iniquity.


1 Who will reform the body of our lowness, made like to the body of his glory, according to the operation whereby also he is able to subdue all things unto himself.


For although I made you sorrowful by my epistle, I do not repent; and if I did repent, seeing that the same epistle (although but for a time) did make you sorrowful;


For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle ?


Now I say, as long as the heir is a child, he differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;


Then said I: Behold, I come to do thy will, O God: he taketh away the first, that he may establish that which followeth.


9 So Israel sent messengers to Sehon king of the Amorrhites, who dwelt in Hesebon, and they said to him: Suffer me to pass through thy land to the river.
