6 At my first answer no man stood with me, but all forsook me: may it not be laid to their charge.


5 But I have thought it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother and fellow labourer, and fellow soldier, but your apostle, and he that hath ministered to my wants.


And he went, and discoursed with the chief priests and the magistrates, how he might betray him to them.


6 I say then, walk in the spirit, and you shall not fulfil the lusts of the flesh.


0 Who in time past were not a people: but are now the people of God. Who had not obtained mercy; but now have obtained mercy.


1 Be not overcome by evil, but overcome evil by good.


0 For the sorrow that is according to God worketh penance, steadfast unto salvation; but the sorrow of the world worketh death.


3 If we believe not, he continueth faithful, he can not deny himself.


2 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation; for when he hath been proved, he shall receive a crown of life, which God hath promised to them that love him.


1 For there shall be then great tribulation, such as hath not been from the beginning of the world until now, neither shall be.


0 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.


Now consider how great this man is, to whom also Abraham the patriarch gave tithes out of the principal things.


5 Who shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience bearing witness to them, and their thoughts between themselves accusing, or also defending one another,


9 Such as I love, I rebuke and chastise. Be zealous therefore, and do penance.


1 If any man speak, let him speak, as the words of God. If any man minister, let him do it, as of the power, which God administereth: that in all things God may be honoured through Jesus Christ: to whom is glory and empire for ever and ever. Amen.


3 The life is more than the meat, and the body is more than the raiment.


5 And I will endeavour, that you frequently have after my decease, whereby you may keep a memory of these things.


And in godliness, love of brotherhood; and in love of brotherhood, charity.


6 And thou shalt suck the milk of the Gentiles, and thou shalt be nursed with the breasts of kings: and thou shalt know that I am the Lord thy Saviour, and thy Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.


8 And alive, and was dead, and behold I am living for ever and ever, and have the keys of death and of hell.


And he was of necessity to pass through Samaria.


And thou, son of man, prophesy against Cog, and say: Thus saith the Lord God: Behold, I come against thee, O Cog, the chief prince of Mosoch and Thubal.


7 Thus saith the Lord God: Thou then art he, of whom I have spoken in the days of old, by my servants the prophets of Israel, who prophesied in the days of those times that I would bring thee upon them.


And I beheld, and lo a lamb stood upon mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty-four thousand, having his name, and the name of his Father, written on their foreheads.


And the apostles said to the Lord: Increase our faith.


0 As for my God, his way is undefiled: the words of the Lord are fire tried: he is the protector of all that trust in him.


7 He having heard that Jesus was come from Judea into Galilee, went to him, and prayed him to come down, and heal his son; for he was at the point of death.


2 He asked therefore of them the hour wherein he grew better. And they said to him: Yesterday, at the seventh hour, the fever left him.


1 But when Cephas was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed.


And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath delivered himself for us, an oblation and a sacrifice to God for an odour of sweetness.


For which cause God also hath exalted him, and hath given him a name which is above all names:


0 But the God of all grace, who hath called us into his eternal glory in Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a little, will himself perfect you, and confirm you, and establish you.


5 He shall lean upon his house, and it shall not stand: he shall prop it up, and it shall not rise:


Who said to them as Jesus had commanded them; and they let him go with them.
