7 The Lord strike thee with the ulcer of Egypt, and the part of thy body, by which the dung is cast out, with the scab and with the itch : so that thou canst not be healed.


Yet now take courage, O Zorobabel, saith the Lord, and take courage, O Jesus the son of Josedec the high priest, and take courage, all ye people of the land, saith the Lord of hosts: and perform (for I am with you, saith the Lord of hosts)


Speak to Zorobabel the son of Salathiel the governor of Juda, and to Jesus the son of Josedec the high priest, and to the rest of the people, saying:


2 And thy stretched out arm,) so when he shall come, and shall pray in this place,


1 For the house of Israel, and the house of Juda have greatly transgressed against me, saith the Lord.


And to the angel of the church of Sardis, write: These things saith he, that hath the seven spirits of God, and the seven stars: I know thy works, that thou hast the name of being alive: and thou art dead.


Hear ye this word, which I take up concerning you for a lamentation. The house of Israel is fallen, and it shall rise no more.


The lion is come up out of his den, and the robber of nations hath roused himself: he is come forth out of his place, to make thy land desolate: thy cities shall be laid waste, remaining without an inhabitant.


For the day of vengeance is in my heart, the year of my redemption is come.


Bring forth the people that are blind, and have eyes: that are deaf, and have ears.


5 And I will protect this city, and will save it for my own sake, and for the sake of David my servant.


1 After all these things his indignation is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.


3 And he brought them out in hope, and they feared not: band the sea overwhelmed their enemies.


9 Lay down thy greatness without tribulation, and all the mighty of strength.


7 And Achaz slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the city of Jerusalem: for they received him not into the sepulchres of the kings of Israel. And Ezechias his son reigned in his stead.


3 Hear thou from heaven thy firm dwelling place, and do all that which that stranger shall call upon thee for: that all the people of the earth may know thy name, and may fear thee, as thy people Israel, and may know, that thy name is invoked upon this house, which I have built.


8 And said to his brethren: My money is given me again, hehold it is in the sack. And thye were astonished, and troubled, and said to one another: What is this that God hath done unto us?


4 And he turned himself away a little while, and wept: and returning he spoke to them.


And he knew them, he spoke as it were to strangers somewhat roughly, asking them: Whence came you? They answered: From the land of Chanaan, to buy necessaries of life.


0 For command, command again; command, command again; expect, expect again; expect, expect again: a little there, a little there.


The wicked have wrought upon my back: they have lengthened their iniquity.


4 And the Lord stirred up the spirit of Zorobabel the son of Salathiel governor of Juda, and the spirit of Jesus the son of Josedec the high priest, and the spirit of all the rest of the people: and they went in, and did the work in the house of the Lord of hosts their God.


In the eighth month, in the second year of king Darius, the word of the Lord came to Zacharias the son of Barachias, the son of Addo, the prophet, saying:


For behold the day shall come kindled as a furnace: and all the proud, and all that do wickedly shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall set them on fire, saith the Lord of hosts, it shall not leave them root, nor branch.
