Hear, O Jesus thou high priest, then and thy friends that dwell before thee, for they are portending men: for behold I WILL BRING MY SERVANT THE ORIENT.


5 That day is a day of wrath, a day of tribulation and distress, a day of calamity and misery, a day of darkness and obscurity, a day of clouds and whirlwinds,


Sing praises to our God, sing ye: sing praises to our king, sing ye.


Who have said: We will magnify our tongue; our lips are our own; who is Lord over us?


And he said: Go, and thou shalt say to this people: Hearing, hear, and understand not: and see the vision, and know it not.

Arise, and go to Ninive the great city: and preach in it the preaching that I bid thee.


In whom I have taken thee from the ends of the earth, and from the remote parts thereof have called thee, and said to thee: Thou art my servant, I have chosen thee, and have not cast thee away.


Thou wilt surely take up thy bow: according to the oaths which thou hast spoken to the tribes. Thou wilt divide the rivers of the earth.
