7 The beams of our houses are of cedar, our rafters of cypress trees.


9 Thus saith the king: Let not Ezechias deceive you: for he shall not be able to deliver you out of my hand.


1 And they saw the Egyptians dead upon the sea shore, and the mighty hand that the Lord had used against them: and the people feared the Lord, and they believed the Lord, and Moses his servant.


0 Stood behind, between the Egyptians' camp and the camp of Israel: and it was a dark cloud, and enlightening the night, so that they could not come at one another all the night.


0 And when Pharao drew near, the children of Israel, lifting up their eyes, saw the Egyptians behind them: and they feared exceedingly, and cried to the Lord.


0 And the father said to Joseph: Now shall I die with joy, because I have seen thy face, and leave thee alive.


4 And the king said to Joseph: I am Pharao; without thy commandment no man shall move hand or foot in all the land of Egypt.


0 And they came to the threshingfloor of Atad, which is situated beyond the Jordan: where celebrating the exequies with a great and vehement lamentation, they spent full seven days.


2 So the sons of Jacob did as he had commanded them.
