Dearly beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits if they be of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.


For every high priest is appointed to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it is necessary that he also should have some thing to offer.


1 For when the children were not yet born, nor had done any good or evil (that the purpose of God, according to election, might stand,)


5 The Lord therefore struck the people for the guilt on occasion of the calf which Aaron had made.


3 Therefore I thy servant will stay instead of the boy in the service of my lord, and let the boy go up with his brethren.
