8 But he said: My son shall not go down with you: his brother is dead, and he is left alone: if any mischief befall him in the land to which you go, you will bring down my gray hairs with sorrow to hell.


For every high priest is appointed to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it is necessary that he also should have some thing to offer.


6 None of his sins, which he hath committed, shall be imputed to him: he hath done judgment and justice, he shall surely live.


4 And if I shall say to the wicked: Thou shalt surely die: and he do penance for his sin, and do judgment and justice,


And thou, O son of man, take thee a tile, and lay it before thee: and draw upon it the plan of the city of Jerusalem.


6 And I will make thy tongue stick fast to the roof of thy mouth, and thou shalt be dumb, and not as a man that reproveth: because they are a provoking house.


29 Thy testimonies are wonderful: therefore my soul hath sought them.


The just shall be astonished at this, and the innocent shall be raised up against the hypocrite.


6 But me thy servant, and Sadoc the priest, and Banaias the son of Joiada, and Solomon thy servant he hath not invited.


0 Day and night was I parched with heat, and with frost, and sleep departed from my eyes.


For I will require the blood of your lives at the hand of every beast, and at the hand of man, at the hand of every man, and of his brother, will I require the life of man.


And I say to you, my friends: Be not afraid of them who kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.


1 Then Israel said to them: If it must needs be so, do what you will: take of the best fruits of the land in your vessels, and carry down presents to the man, a little balm, and honey, and storax, myrrh, turpentine, and almonds.


4 We all die, and like waters that return no more, we fall down into the earth: neither will God have a soul to perish, but recalleth, meaning that he that is cast off should not altogether perish.
