But she answered: If it please the king. I beseech thee to come to me this day, and Aman with thee to the banquet which I have prepared.


And after he began to be ninety and nine years old, the Lord appeared to him: and said unto him: I am the Almighty God: walk before me, and be perfect.


2 What is it therefore? the multitude must needs come together: for they will hear that thou art come.


And I said to the king: If it seem good to the king, and if thy servant hath found favour in thy sight, that thou wouldst send me into Judea to the city of the sepulchre of my father, and I will build it.


4 The wrath of a king is as messengers of death : and the wise man will pacify it.


8 And I lifted up my hands to thy commandments, which I loved: and I was exercised in thy justifications.


He that worketh pride shall not dwell in the midst of my house: he that speaketh unjust things did not prosper before my eyes.


4 And he called the name of that place, The Lord seeth. Whereupon even to this day it is said: In the mountain the Lord will see.


2 Having more things to write unto you, I would not by paper and ink: for I hope that I shall be with you, and speak face to face: that your joy may be full.


3 This testimony is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;


For there is one God, and one mediator of God and men, the man Christ Jesus:


1 Which is according to the gospel of the glory of the blessed God, which hath been committed to my trust.


8 Till another king arose in Egypt, who knew not Joseph.


8 And her neighbours and kinsfolks heard that the Lord had shewed his great mercy towards her, and they congratulated with her.


1 And thou shalt-say in thy heart: Who hath begotten these? I was barren and brought not forth, led away, and captive: and who hath brought up these? I was destitute and alone: and these, where were they?


The perverse way of a man is strange: but as for him that is pure, his work is right.

2 And the land which I gave to Abraham and Isaac, I will give to thee, and to thy seed after thee.


And give the blessings of Abrabam to thee, and to thy seed after thee: that thou mayst possess the land of thy sojournment, which he promised to thy grandfather.


A prayer for David himself. Incline thy ear, O Lord, and hear me: for I am needy and poor.


0 Jesus therefore, when he had taken the vinegar, said: It is consummated. And bowing his head, he gave up the ghost.


4 And may my almighty Bod make him favourable to you; and send back with you your brother, whom he keepeth, and this Benjamin: and as for me I shall be desolate without children.


They were hungry and thirsty: their soul fainted in them.


3 Then they rent their garments, and loading their asses again, returned into the town.
