9 As the faces of them that look therein, shine in the water, so-the hearts of men are laid open to the wise.

7 They have gathered together the silver that was found in the house of the Lord: and it is given to the overseers of the artificers, and of the workmen, for divers works.


9 And stay without the camp seven days. He that hath killed a man, or touched one that is killed, shall be purified the third day and the seventh day.


4 That he may appoint overseers over all the countries: and gather into barns the fifth part of the fruits, during the seven fruitful years,


6 And let it be in readiness, against the famine of seven years to come, which shall oppress Egypt, and the land shall not consumed with scarcity.


5 And they answered: Our life is in thy hand: only let my lord look favourably upon us, and we will gladly serve the king.


7 So Israel dwelt in Egypt, that is, in the land of Gessen, and possessed it: and grew, and was multiplied exceedingly.
