3 But the chief butler, when things prospered with him, forgot his interpreter.


2 But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise, by the faith of Jesus Christ, might be given to them that believe.


5 I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring you ought to support the weak, and to remember the word of the Lord Jesus, how he said: It is a more blessed thing to give, rather than to receive.


2 And the house of Israel shall bury them for seven months to cleanse the land.


4 There are four very little things of the earth, and they are wiser than the wise:


5 And the Philistines made war again against Israel, and David went down, and his servants with him, and fought against the Philistines. And David growing faint,


1 And it was told David, what Respha the daughter of Aia, the concubine of Saul, had done.


1 He ran, and stood over the Philistine, and took his sword, and drew it out of the sheath, and slew him, and cut off his head. And the Philistines seeing that their champion was dead, fled away.


9 And he put his hand into his scrip, and took a stone, and cast it with the sling, and fetching it about struck the Philistine in the forehead: and the stone was fixed in his forehead, and he fell on his face upon the earth.


1 From Lebna he passed unto Lachis, with all Israel: and investing it with his army, besieged it.


4 After this he read all the words of the blessing and the cursing and all things that were written in the hook of the law.


4 Forthwith at the king's command, Joseph was brought out of the prison, and they shaved him, and changing his apparel, brought him in to him.


8 Joseph answered: This is the interpretation of the dream: The three baskets are yet three days:


4 Only remember me, when it shall be well with thee, and do me this kindness: to put Pharao in mind to take me out of this prison:


9 After which Pharao will take thy hand from thee, and hang thee on a cross, and the birds shall tear thy flesh.


1 And he restored the one to his place to present him the cup:
