6 She answered him: This evil which now thou dost against me, in driving me away, is greater than that which thou didst before. And he would not hearken to her:


Behold this second epistle I write to you, my dearly beloved, in which I stir up by way of admonition your sincere mind:


2 And my indignation shall rest in thee: and my jealousy shall depart from thee, and I will cease and be angry no more.


5 And this is the promise which he hath promised us, life everlasting.


6 Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black.


0 And they shall bring upon thee a multitude, and they shall stone thee with stones, and shall slay thee with their swords.


Let him weigh me in a just balance, and let God know my simplicity.


3 Gifts are given to all harlots: but thou hast given hire to all thy lovers, and thou hast given them gifts to come to thee from every side, to commit fornication with thee.
