2 These things were told to Rebecca: and she sent and called Jacob her son, and said to him: Behold Esau thy brother threateneth to kill thee.


And there are three that give testimony on earth: the spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three are one.


1 Dearly beloved, if our heart do not reprehend us, we have confidence towards God:


0 But you have the unction from the Holy One, and know all things.

3 And Saul said to David: Thou art not able to withstand this Philistine, nor to fight against him: for thou art but a boy, but he is a warrior from his youth.

4 His bow rested upon the strong, and the bands of his arms and his hands were loosed, by the hands of the mighty one of Jacob: thence he came forth a pastor, the stone of Israel.


2 And when his brethren abode in Sichem feeding their father's docks,


9 In this we know that we are of the truth: and in his sight shall persuade our hearts.


4 Thus saith the Lord against all my wicked neighbors, that touch the inheritance that I have shared out to my people Israel: Behold I will pluck them out of their land, and I will pluck the house of Juda out of the midst of them.


3 And answering them, he said: Who is my mother and my brethren?
