3 And it came to pass after two years, that the sheep of Absalom were shorn in Baalhasor, which is near Ephraim: and Absalom invited all the king's sons:


3 And the father acknowledging it, said: It is my son's coat, an evil wild beast hath eaten him, a beast hath devoured Joseph.


4 And cast him into an old pit, where there was no water.


There cometh a woman of Samaria, to draw water. Jesus saith to her: Give me to drink.


4 That thou didst also build thee a common stew, and madest thee a brothel house in every street.


And pitching their tents among them, wasted all things as they were in the blade even to the entrance of Gaza: and they left nothing at all in Israel for sustenance of life, nor sheep, nor oxen, nor asses.


2 Sending some to carry it to their father, and to say: This we have found: see whether it be thy son's coat, or not.
