7 And when the time of the promise drew near, which God had promised to Abraham, the people increased, and were multiplied in Egypt,


4 And he increased his people exceedingly: and strengthened them over their enemies,


Who bore to him Zamran, and Jecsan, and Madan, and Madian, and Jesboc, and Sue.


3 But he answering, said: He that dippeth his hand with me in the dish, he shall betray me.

From twenty years old and upward, as the Lord had commanded: and this is the number of them:


Number the whole sum of the children of Israel from twenty years old and upward, by their houses and kindreds, all that are able to go forth to war.


8 And when they returned to Raguel their father, he said to them: Why are ye come sooner than usual?


And the Lord was with him, and he was a prosperous man in all things: and he dwelt in his master's house,


7 That we should say thus much to thee from him: I beseech thee to forget the wickedness of thy brethren, and the sin and malice they practiced against thee: we also pray thee, to forgive the servants of the God of thy father this wickedness. And when Joseph heard this, he wept.


6 The chief baker seeing that he had wisely interpreted the dream, said: I also dreamed a dream, That I bed three baskets of meal upon my heed:


9 If he rise again and walk abroad upon his staff, he that struck him shall be quit, yet so that he make restitution for his work, and for his expenses upon the physicians.


0 And cannot be changed, that is to say, neither a better for a worse, nor a worse for a better. And if he shall change it: both that which was changed, and that for which it was changed, shall be consecrated to the Lord.


1 But if thou wilt not go forth, this is the word which the Lord hath shewn me:
