Where there is no knowledge of the soul, there is no good: and he that is hasty with his feet shall stumble.


1 For where thy treasure is, there is thy heart also.


And my people shall long for my return: but a yoke shall be put upon them together, which shall not be taken off.


5 He answered, and said: Behold I see four men loose, and walking in the midst of the fire, and there is no hurt in them, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.


I stretched forth my hands to thee: my soul is as earth without water unto thee.


41 I am very young and despised; but I forgot not thy justifications.


Thy hand destroyed the Gentiles, and thou plantedst them : thou didst afflict the people and cast them out.


Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I am afflicted: my eye is troubled with wrath, my soul, and my belly:


I have hated the assembly of the malignant; and with the wicked I will not sit.


I set the Lord always in my sight: for he is at my right hand, that I be not moved.


0 And now as I know that thou shalt surely be king, and have the kingdom of Israel in thy hand:


5 But if you will not hearken to the voice of the Lord, but will rebel against his words, the hand of the Lord shall be upon you, and upon your fathers.


2 These things were told to Rebecca: and she sent and called Jacob her son, and said to him: Behold Esau thy brother threateneth to kill thee.


1 Thou shalt not wear a garment that is woven of woollen and linen together.


3 Now therefore, my son, hear my voice: arise and flee to Laban my brother to Haran:


And he commanded them, saying: Thus shall ye speak to my lord Esau: Thus saith thy brother Jacob: I have sojourned with Laban, and have been with him until this day.


Saying: If Esau come to one company and destroy it, the other company that is left shall escape.


And lifting up his eyes, he saw the women and their children, and said: What mean these? And do they belong to thee? He answered: They are the children which God hath given to me thy servant.


7 Saying: Blessed be the Lord God of my master Abraham, who hath not taken away his mercy and truth from my master, and hath brought me the straight way into the house of my master's brother.


3 And what nation is there upon earth, as thy people Israel, whom God went to redeem for a people to himself, and to make him a name, and to do for them great and terrible things, upon the earth, before the face of thy people, whom thou redeemedst to thyself out of Egypt, from the nations and their gods.
