4 And after he had offered sacrifices in the mountain, he called his brethren to eat bread. And when they had eaten, they lodged there:


3 Laban answered him: The daughters are mine and the children, and thy flocks, and all things that thou seest are mine: what can I do to my children, and grandchildren?


5 Now Jacob had pitched his tent in the mountain: and when he with his brethren had overtaken him, he pitched his tent in the same mount of Galaad.


4 And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth: thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and IN THEE and thy seed all the tribes of the earth SHALL BE BLESSED.


3 But Ananias answered: Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints in Jerusalem.


After this I beheld, and lo, another like a leopard, and it had upon it four wings as of a fowl, and the beast had four heads, and power was given to it.


8 Now Daniel continued unto the reign of Darius, and the reign of Cyrus the Persian.


Then I set forth a decree, that all the wise men of Babylon should be brought in before me, and that they should shew me the interpretation of the dream.


But if any man shall not fall down and adore, he shall the same hour be cast into a furnace of burning fire.


But I, as a fruitful olive tree in the house of God, have hoped in the mercy of God for ever, yea for ever and ever.


5 And he prayed in his sight, saying: O Lord God of Israel, who sitteth upon the cherubims, thou alone art the God of all the kings of the earth: thou madest heaven and earth:


0 And Laban and Bathuel answered: The word hath proceeded from the Lord, we cannot speak any other thing to thee but his pleasure.


And you know that I have served your father to the utmost of my power.


If at any time he said: The speckled shall be thy wages: all the sheep brought forth speckled: but when he said on the contrary: Thou shalt take all the white ones for thy wages: all the flocks brought forth white ones.


You have cast out the women of my people from their houses, in which they took delight: you have taken my praise for ever from their children.


7 But Absalom pressed him, so that he let Amnon and all the king's sons go with him. And Absalom made a feast as it were the feast of a king.
