3 Cursed be he that lieth with his mother in law: and all the people shall say: Amen.


We are bound to give thanks always to God for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you towards each other, aboundeth:


7 Wherefore, Go out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing:


But you have departed out of the way, and have caused many to stumble at the law: you have made void the covenant of Levi, saith the Lord of hosts.


1 He poureth contempt upon princes, and relieveth them that were oppressed.


7 Isaac answered: I have appointed him thy lord, and have made all his brethren his servants: I have established him with corn and wine, and after this, what shall I do more for thee, my son?


7 And when they were grown up, Esau became a skillful hunter, and a husbandman, but Jacob a plain man dwelt in tents.


8 Come down from thy glory, and sit in thirst, O dwelling of the daughter of Dibon: because the spoiler of Moab is come up to thee, he hath destroyed thy bulwarks.


5 He said: Cursed be Chaanan, a servant of servants, shall he be unto his brethren.


6 And Rebecca said to Isaac: I am weary of my life because of the daughters of Heth: if Jacob take a wife of the stock of this land, I choose not to live.
